The Lakeland Terrier Nordlicht Von Den Schönen Bergen beat 8,830 other dogs to claim Best in Show at the European Dog Show 2026 in Stockholm. When BIS judge Annika Ulltveit-Moe was asked to sum up the winner, one word was enough: fantastic.
During September 4–6, 2026, the Swedish Kennel Club will host two major dog shows. These events will be held simultaneously over three days at Stockholmsmässan. In conjunction with these shows, several breed specialty and breed club shows will also take place in the Stockholm area.

In connection with the FCI European Dog Show 2026, many of our clubs are hosting shows either for all breeds or for specific breeds. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience several events in a short amount of time – while increasing your chances of bringing home even more certificates and meeting lots of people who share your passion!
Junior Handling at the European Dog Show is set to become one of the year's most prestigious youth competitions! In September, nearly 200 of Europe's most promising young dog enthusiasts will gather in Sweden to compete in Junior Handling, the art of presenting a dog. We can promise that this will be one of the absolute highlights of the show!
