Bringing dogs to Stockholm Hundmässa
All dogs must pass the veterinary control at the venue. Only dogs competing at the exhibition with a ring card, and dogs with special permission may enter the exhibition area!
There are two veterinary controls, one at the East Entrance and one at the Main Entrance. They are open from 7 am to 11 am.
Vaccinations
A vaccination check is carried out during the veterinary control. As an exhibitor, you are responsible for making sure that the competing dog have received the necessary vaccinations:
Canine distemper: Dogs competing at the exhibition must be vaccinated as follows against canine distemper: Dogs less than one year of age – at a minimum of 10 weeks. Dogs older than one year – at a minimum of 10 months or older, however, no more than 4 years ago. The so-called first vaccination may not be carried out less than 14 days prior to exhibition day.
Parvovirus Infection: Svenska Kennelklubben recommends that the dog is vaccinated against Parvo. For those recommendations which apply for the different Parvo vaccines, please consult your veterinarian.
Rabies: Any dog brought into Sweden against the current import regulations will be banned from the exhibition venue, and any possible show result for that dog will be annulled.
Deworming
Deworming can be done in connection with the veterinary inspection at the entrance between 7-9 AM, as well as at 3 PM and 5 PM at the entrance hall. The cost is 300 SEK per dog. Please bring your own tablets and the completed medical records, which will be sent to you via email along with payment instructions. Remember to bring the receipt to the deworming session.
Deworming will also be available on Friday evening between 7-8 PM for 200 SEK per dog, with prior registration required. Specific information about this will be sent out via e-mail to the dog owners concerned.
