Junior handling
At Stockholm Hundmässa 2024, the Swedish Championship in Junior Handling will take place. The Swedish Championship will be held on Saturday, December 14th, and on Sunday, the Nordic Championship in Junior Handling will be held.
The Junior Handling competitions are organized by the Swedish Dog Youth Organization's Handling Committee (Sveriges Hundungdoms Handlingkommitté).
Swedish Championship in Junior Handling – Saturday, December 14th
On Saturday, December 14th, the Swedish Championship in Junior Handling will be held. Throughout the year, skilled young handlers have qualified for the SM final, and now it’s time to determine who will be this year’s Junior Handler! In the morning, the judge will evaluate the competitors, with the final selection and placements taking place in the main ring during the afternoon's final competitions. The winner will represent Sweden at Crufts 2025, with travel sponsored by Agria Pet Insurance. Additionally, Sweden’s Dog Youth Organization’s sponsor, PrimaDog, will provide prizes for all finalists.

Nordic Championship in Junior Handling – Sunday, December 15th
On Sunday, December 15th, the Nordic Championship in Junior Handling will be held, featuring national teams from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Each team consists of four main team members, one reserve, and usually a coach. This year, Sweden’s national team includes Simon Fransson, Nora Edvinsson and Nellie Podlinski.
